If isles' rarer goods are upgraded high enough you won't need to send ships with any ingots at all - for example if you fully upgrade shrimps, they will arrive often without ingots and with a bit of patience, you can have 4 ships with 2 shrimps each in harbour. For the regatta, certain tasks can be done in one trip using 3-4 ingots.Ships always bring back three goods if that good has "100% chance" (except the uncommon good when using a silver ingot).Favorable Voyage is a booster which makes ingots twice as efficient when sending ships off.The probability of the goods depends on which type of ingots are sent. Inside mystery chests you can find gems, T-cash, tools or an artifact you can view in your museum. Ingots add a higher probability of getting rarer goods, and also a chance to bring back a mystery chest.2nd Good +10% Chance, (+1% per upgrade).Time -50% (Level 21), (-5% per upgrade, only available for even number isle levels). To increase the probability of rarer goods you can use ingots or upgrade isles at the Academy of Industry.
